All CDs and DVDs are guaranteed to play and if they do not, will be replaced free of charge. Note that all of our releases are hand-made and hand-assembled and supplies may run short at times. All artifacts below are listed from most-recent to oldest release order. Any prices listed are cost postpaid for each item in the U.S. or overseas. For example, "USD $12/$15" means you can order the release for USD $12 postpaid in the U.S. or USD $15 postpaid anywhere outside the U.S. Note that some releases are only available through distributors.

Releases

	Available from Various - Sounds of Universe Overheard CD comp  (samples & reviews) Released December 2007 — USD $12. A new compliation, almost 10 years after the last Hypnos comp, featuring a track from the Étoiles sessions called "Nitrous" that we dearly wanted to include but did not fit on the CD due to the 80 minute limit. A track very much our own attempt to channel the sounds of the first Stars of the Lid LP/CD, "Music for Nitrous Oxide", it was going to be abandoned until it found this home. Although we regret it did not make it on the last CD, at least it has found a place for people to enjoy a slow, minimal, droning, guitar-only track that will space you out and is very tasty with herbal seasoning! We would also say it's one of the least interesting tracks on the compilation and that you'll be well-served to be introduced to at least half-dozen amazing new ambient artists with whom we are honoured and almost embarrassed to be included amongst. Currently available from the Hypnos Online Store and directly from us, it will soon be added to the catalogue of the Hypnos label Online Store for worldwide distribution. Freq. Magnet - Éoiles du Couvrecle CD  (samples & reviews) Released February 2007 — USD $12/$15. The sophomore release by this guitar-only Austere side-project wraps a long, slowly evolving and receding 40+ minute ambient drone with two quiet, minimal shorter pieces, all in homage to the brilliant works of Stars of the Lid over the last decade. The guitar as The Instrument is more prominent on this release, which also includes piano on one track, retaining elements of the shoegazing psychedelic ambience of their first release while changing focus more to an overall minimal sound, foregoing the more song-based format of previous work and aiming for a more cohesive, long-form album listening experience. Freq. Magnet - Principium Somniferum DVD  (samples & reviews) Released October 2006 — USD $12/$15 (details below) Samples: Ever-changign sample tracks on the Freq. Magnet MySpace page. A DVD+/-R (DVD Recordable) video of colorful and constantly-changing psychedelic computer graphics generated with the use of MilkDrop, customized and synced to each track on the album. Note that the musick is the same on the CD and DVD, the latter adds visuals to go with each track. The DVD is currently available only directly from us and comes in NTSC (North American) video format, No Region Code, with several different options/prices (please specify DVD+r or DVD-R disc format): Available from the Hypnos Online Store. A DVD and CD combo package in one case together. $20 ppd. The DVD version by itself, without a CD. $12 ppd. A DVD to add to the original CD you already purchased. See below for more details. $7 ppd. If you have already bought the CD and wish to purchase a DVD to go with your existing CD/case, you must send the "credits disc" (B&W text on a clear CD-shaped plastic backing) back to us with your $7 payment, and we will send a DVD version with the same B&W credits. Freq. Magnet - Principium Somniferum CD  (samples & reviews) Released August 2005 — USD $12/15. One half of Austere goes solo with a new side-project that tries to take the "psybient" genre in a completely different direction, eschewing synths and drum-like percussion but embracing bass and well as electric guitar sounds, this release attempts to create a style of shoegazing psychedelic ambience strongly influenced by the work of Stars of the Lid, Windy & Carl, Labradford, and other guitar-based "indie-rock" bands who seek out a more trance-inducing, floating, other-worldly sound.
